Introduction to Shambala Meditation

Want to learn more about Shambhala?  Sign up for our three-session class held on the first three Tuesday evenings of the month. In this class we introduce the principles of Shambhala Buddhism and the path towards a meaningful life. Students are encouraged to use this class as an opportunity to reflect on themselves and the state of the world, and to share their thoughts and reflections with each other.
The classes include guided instruction in a variety of the meditation practices of our Shambhala Buddhist tradition, led by authorized meditation teachers. Each class builds on the previous classes, so we ask that you plan to attend all three.  If you know that you will need to miss a class, we suggest that you wait for a month during which you can attend all three classes.
Upon completion of the class, students are invited to join us for meditation practice in our main hall every Tuesday evening and every second Sunday morning.  Students are also encouraged to sign up for our classes and programs in order to deepen their understanding of our meditation tradition.
Suggested donation for the class is $30 for all three sessions.
All are welcome! No experience with Buddhism or meditation required.
Shambhala always has a generosity policy for its classes. Please pay at the level you can. No one will be turned away for financial reasons.
