Midsummer's Day Celebration

Come join us for our annual midsummer's day celebration!

Over the years, the Shambhala community has adopted a tradition of celebrating the changes of season. These special days of celebration are called nyida days – from nyima (“sun”) and dawa (“moon”). Nyida days occur on or near the days of the spring and autumn equinoxes and the summer and winter solstices.

It is summer, and a time to celebrate all things growing, including our Sangha.  We have had a number of new arrivals in our families in the last year, with more to come.   Join us in celebrating seasonal and family growth!  If you've been away for a while no worries, it is a chance to reconnect.
