Jay Lippman  and Aaron De Long will guide us through this 5-week course on cultivating a gentle and friendly relationship with our everyday lives. Through talks, guided meditation, contemplation, and discussion, we gain understanding and experience of unconditional contentment as well as exploring the obstacles and challenges to experiencing simplicity and nowness. This course is beneficial to new and experienced meditators alike.

This is the first class in the Way of Shambhala curriculum. It offers a glimpse of the Shambhala vision of how the stability and wisdom cultivated through this practice can expand to benefit the world around us.

No prior experience with meditation is necessary, and people from all religious traditions, or who have no religious preference are welcome to participate.

Shambhala always has a generoisity policy for its classes. Please pay at the level you can. No one will be turned away for financial reasons. Those who are able to pay at the "patron" level generously support those who cannot pay the full tuition.

The Way of Shambhala series provides a strong foundation in mindfulness-awareness meditation and is composed of Shambhala Training Levels I-V, plus an accompanying series of five-week 'In Everyday Life' courses. The curriculum is designed to be applicable to the complexity of our daily lives. With gentleness and precision we can develop courage and sanity in these troubled times of uncertainty.
