Ongoing Offerings

The West Chester Shambhala Center offers several programs on a regular basis.  Each program runs on a “drop in” basis, so feel free to come to as few or as many as your schedule allows.

Community Meditation
Tuesdays 7pm – 9pm

An opportunity to meditate in a supportive group setting, to learn about how to apply the principles of meditation to everyday life, and to meet and mingle with others interested in meditation, dharma, and community.  Meditation is for one hour, followed by a reading and structured discussion and then tea and cookies.

Past programs that will resume again in the fall:

Heart of Recovery

A meditation & discussion group bringing together Shambhala Buddhist meditation practice and individual paths of recovery from compulsive and addictive thoughts and behaviors.

Young Meditators Group

The Young Meditators group is geared towards those in their 20 to 30 somethings who are looking to connect with like minded individuals over food, conversation and meditation in a present, mindful, social setting

Shambhala Families & Children Hour

Exploring mindfulness & kindness with kids! An opportunity for children to feel the uplifted environment of the Shambhala Center and for parents to socialize and relax together.
