Shambhala Families & Children: exploring mindfulness & kindness with kids

Every first Sunday of the month, 11am – 1pm

The Shambhala children’s group welcomes families from the Shambhala community and the general public interested in mindful living.

During the Shambhala Family program, children are encouraged to explore the world through their senses with fun activities involving music, art, stories and movement. Children and their parents will discover the idea of basic goodness as a way to instill confidence, bravery, compassion and kindness within oneself and how to share those qualities with others in the world.

The group is created by the members of our sangha, who share their unique practice gifts as an offering. We extend this opportunity for children to feel the uplifted environment of the Shambhala Center and for parents to socialize and relax together.

Babies, toddlers, and children of all ages are welcome, when accompanied by their parents or guardians. There is no cost to attend, but donations are gratefully accepted.
